The club was formed in 1992 to lobby for off road cycling access in the New Forest at a time when even the limited access that is currently available was under threat.
Although very little progress has been made on extending formal access within the Forest we continue to make representations for further access whenever possible.
Our position is that no rational argument has been put forward to counter our view that cyclists should have the same access to the Forest as walkers and horse riders.
We encourage responsible riding and recognise that walkers and, in particular, horse riders have priority.
We ride mainly in the New Forest, Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire with occasional visits further afield. Wherever we ride we meet as a friendly group to ride together and aim to encourage people to share our passion for mountain biking. Nobody gets left behind.
New members are always welcome to participate and contribute to the club.
